Infrastructures radicales

This booklet gathers notes and resources from a number of workshops. These originated as sharing and data collection moments for PhD research on the subject of exposure to Permacomputing principles and their potential for generation of oppositional knowledge.

Colm O’Neill rassemble les synthèses de trois ateliers autour de la mise en place d’infrastructures numériques radicales, se réclamant du mouvement permacomputing. Radicales dans le sens où les choix de conception et d’implémentation répondent à des contraintes fortes, avec peu de place pour le compromis : alimenter un serveur par l’énergie solaire, héberger des sites ou des services web sur un smartphone, construire un écosystème d’objets web indépendants. Les informations sont précises et bien souvent reproductibles, en espérant que les travaux de recherche de Colm O’Neill soient bientôt publiés.
